A comprehensive survey was conducted at the President’s College Kotte (PCK) sports ground to accurately demarcate and establish the boundaries of the entire sports facility. The survey covered and defined the following areas: the Cricket Ground and Boundary Line, Cricket Pitches, Cricket Practice Nets, Basketball Court, Rugby Ground, Football Ground, and Pavilion Area.
Upon completion of the survey, permanent boundary stones were installed at regular intervals along the demarcated boundary line of the cricket ground, along with corner stones for the respective sports courts, clearly defining and securing the perimeters of all playing fields.
A significant milestone was achieved during this process when the Friends of Presidents College Association (https://www.friendsofpresidents.org) handed over a newly prepared official survey plan to the school. This marked a historic moment, as it was the first time in over 50 years that the school had received a proper and legally recognised survey plan — a vital asset for all future school development initiatives. The survey was carried out by Gamini B. Dodanwela Associates (Pvt) Ltd., Licensed Land Surveyors. The total cost of the survey and boundary stone installation amounted to Rs. 440,000.00.
